If your in oxfordshire and need to see how your radio is sounding then what better way to get a radio report than log in to this site and listen for yourself?
We do have about a 10 second delay so this gives you time to get from radio to pc.

Cb Radio started in the uk around 1972-1973. Between 1973 and 1980 cb radio use gained much popularity in the UK.  During this time the shores of England were flooded by Illegally imported cb radios from America. The usage of cb radio peaked in 1980 causing the UK government to legalize cb radio. Their logic may have been "If we can't control it, we might as well attempt to regulate it".

Cb Radio Became legal in Great Britain on November 2, 1981. The type of cb radio that became legal disappointed allot of UK cb radio users. UK Cb operators were now limited to 4 watts narrow FM output which severely decreased the range and voice quality of communications. Logic dictates this move by the uk government has actually prompted a bigger flood of illegal AM and SSB cb radios in England.  This has also prompted a larger use of illegal cb amplifiers to compensate for the decreased range of FM communications.

Many Cbers and Amateur Radio Operators are waiting for "Cycle 24". Sunspots will cause the atmosphere to reflect radio waves allowing cb radio operators the ability to easily talk all over the globe.

I would like to say thank you to Andy for all the hard work you put into keeping our radio's working and i would like to thank all the group members that use the 25 on a regular basis.
